Every route on this site also runs as a small-group departure — a fixed date, a capped group size, and a price per person that includes the logistics, not just the itinerary on paper.
How group departures work
Solo travel on any of these routes is entirely possible with the day-by-day plans on each route page. Group departures exist for people who'd rather not plan the logistics alone, or who want to split the driving and the cost of accommodation with a small group headed the same direction on the same dates.

What's included
Accommodation for every night on the itinerary, ground transport between stops (including internal flights or ferries where the route calls for one), a group leader for the full trip, and every activity marked as part of the day-by-day plan on the route's own page. International or domestic flights to your first gateway city are not included — see each route's "Gateway" line for exactly where to fly into and out of.
Deposits & payment
Registering interest through the site is free and doesn't take any payment details. Once our team confirms your spot, a deposit secures the booking and the balance is due closer to departure — full terms are confirmed directly with you before any payment changes hands.
Group size
Group sizes are capped per route, generally 10–12 people, with remoter routes like the Kimberley and Kangaroo Island capped lower to match vehicle capacity. Smaller than a coach tour, large enough to split accommodation and vehicle costs meaningfully.
Solo travellers
Every departure welcomes solo travellers — group trips are priced per person on a twin-share basis; a single-occupancy option is available on request when you register interest.
